A Short BiographyThe boldest step one can take, is a first step in any direction. This philosophy has contributed more to Sean's artistic photographic experience than any other single factor.
At the age of 25, Sean underwent a major spiritual and psychological transformation. This "Opening of his eyes" as he calls it, gave to him a new and unique insight to his art and his life. Now in his mid thirties, his philosophy, pursuits and adventures have colored his life and art with that richness.
He has often said "A photographer is someone who has the uncanny ability to find a moment in time and the technical ability to capture it. Oh yeah... and luck... without luck, the rest doesn't matter". To him, awareness of the moment is far more important than pursuing a fixed goal. It's this Zen like attitude that has brought so much reward to his life.
With a background in many art forms including sculpture and painting, Sean brings a unique artistic quality to all of his photography. His personal adventures color many of his works with an adrenaline charged, Zen like flavor.
